Tad is baseball through and through. Since five years old, Reida has made the diamond his home. Playing on successful teams throughout middle and high school before joining two of the country’s top summer travel teams: Indiana Bull (2002) and the Midland Redskins (2003). A talented infielder, Reida was drafted out of high school for the Philadelphia Phillies, but chose to continue his career at the collegiate level with the Wichita State Shockers (2003-2006), reaching the NCAA tournament every year. Following his playing career being cut short due to injury, Reida began his coaching career with the Indiana Bulls. In 2008 his coaching success continued as an assistant coach for the WVU Mountaineers and then the United States Air Force Academy. Having coached many players who have gone on to play professionally. Reida founded CageRat Baseball in 2010 with the hopes of helping youth baseball players reach their maximum potential.

As a player, Greg Moviel was a left-handed pitcher at Vanderbilt University for coach Tim Corbin alongside players such as David Price as well as having pitched professionally in the Seattle Mariners organization. Greg’s fastball ran up to 99 MPH and he was touted as one of the top players in the country by Perfect Game. As a coach, Greg has helped develop many D1 players as well as help a few different coaches and programs such as Auggie Garrido at the University of Texas.

Madeline Moviel joins The Farm with a long history of playing and coaching at all levels. During high school, she competed as a three-sport varsity athlete in volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse. Madeline went on to be a 4-year starter at Yale University where she was All Ivy League and honored with the Bulldog Leadership Award.
After earning a degree in Psychology, Madeline took over the varsity basketball program at Episcopal High School in Washington DC, in addition to assistant coaching softball and volleyball and teaching math and health and wellness. In Texas, she served as the assistant athletic director and varsity basketball head coach at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.
Throughout all of this, Madeline has worked as a private and group instructor in strength and agility, basketball, and overall fitness. She is married to The Farm’s director Greg Moviel and is currently attending nursing school at University of Colorado. Madeline looks forward to continuing as a coach and mentor for young female athletes here in Colorado Springs.
College: West Virginia University
Allison and Tad moved to Colorado in July of 2010 from Morgantown, WV.
In December of 2010, Allison was hired as the Marketing Manager for Plumbline Services in Denver. Allison managed all day to day marketing operations for the company.
In July of 2015, Allison and Tad decided to open The Farm Sports. In order to spend more time on The Farm and with her family, she had to leave her position at Plumbline the same month.
Allison currently handles all day to day operations for The Farm as well as handles all phone calls and scheduling.
She is originally from State College, PA. She graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations in 2009.
