Listen to the Barbells

The barbell teaches you a different lesson. The barbell holds the opportunities for getting stronger, changing your body, and building resolve. But (and this is the important bit) the barbell also doesn’t give a shit about you.

You pick it up and you get positive, life-changing results…or you don’t and you get nothing. The bar doesn’t care one way or another. It looks you right in the face and says, “This is going to be hard and it’s going to take a lot of work but the payoff is awesome. Take it or leave it.”

In today’s society, it’s a lesson many need to learn. Life is a barbell. The opportunities are right there. You just have to pick them up and start grinding. It’s all on you. Always has been. Always will be.

In a society where we live on social media and race from one appointment to another, fitness has become invaluable. This is the 1 hour of the day that we are able to shut everything down and be selfish. By creating time to focus on ourselves we are able to truly grow. Whether it’s an outdoor activity on the weekend or a tough gym session after a stressful day, you will always feel better after moving.

CrossFit 719 is a sanctuary for those who want to spend that time progressing their movement to achieve the goals they have set forth. Doesn’t matter if your goals are to compete at the highest level or to lose 5 pounds, you carry the importance and we will help. We believe that within the 4 walls of the gym that we can find solace in our abilities that will transfer to the rest of our lives. By allowing ourselves to move and play in a safe environment we push ourselves to new limits and beyond.
